Offset the greenhouse gases created by your events

The Climate Trust offers offsets to help you minimize your event's climate impact. As one of the oldest and most experienced providers in the U.S. and World markets, we offer only the highest-quality offsets that will result in real and verifiable reductions in greenhouse gases.

The first step is to calculate your event's carbon footprint.

Calculate your impact. You can download our Event Offset Tool (350kb, automated PDF) to assist you in measuring your impact. Downloading the tool is free and does not obligate you to purchase offsets from The Climate Trust. For a full description of the calculations used, download our Calculations Explained PDF. Our calculator requires Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.0 or newer.

Offset your emissions. Once you know the size of your event's carbon footprint, you can choose to offset some or all of your emissions. If you choose to make a donation to The Climate Trust, we will invest your contribution in real and verified, high-quality offsets. We will also send you a receipt for your donation, a certificate in recognition of your commitment, and an annual update on the projects your donation helps support.

To make a tax-deductible donation, send a check to the address listed below. Be sure to include your organization's name, contact information, and the number of tons you wish to offset.
